No comments. huh? Hmm... that means nobody reads my blog anymore. No problem! that won't stop me from blogging. I'll keep doing that. Today, I have picked up Tarun's caricature from my carton to display you. I have just finished it. Comments awaited.

CarTOONed

Macromedia Flash is one of my favorite tools. After a long time I got chance to do my favorite thing using this tool. Drawing. Although drawing on a software is not as awesome as it is on a paper with a pen, but yes the fun is very much similar. I'll try to post some step by step tutorial to do so sometime later.

So all you guys be ready, because after me now it is your turn to be tooned. I'm not sure who is next, but one by one I'm gonna toon you all. Sounds like I have become a magician who is ready to jinx you all. I know I suck at metaphors, but I'm sure you got my point.

Cartoon trying hands on caricature

Caricature (pronounced as CARE-ick-ture) is a portrait that exaggerates or distorts the essence of a person or thing to create an easily identifiable visual likeness, or in literature, a description of a person using exaggeration of some characteristics and oversimplification of others.
Recently I bumped into this cool website which was full of caricatures. I'm still drooling over it. I have always been a fan of cartoonists or specifically caricaturists since my childhood. I remember names like Shekhar Gurera, SaranDeep, Lata, R K Laxman, Ninan and many more which I have seen and waited for on the Newspapers and Magazines. I have loved their creations and was always impressed. So now I myself tried my hands on this form of art. Do tell me should I try more or do I really suck on this.


The subject which I have taken into account is my Sys-Ops guy. There is a word famous about him in our office. Whenever Sanjeev is on your seat, your machine is really in 'Danger' Ha! There is a very funny line related to Windows. "If the problem is small... Restart, and if it is big... Reinstall". I guess Sanjeev follows this too well ;) no offence.

Agents of Satan are back

I guess this is going to be the last post of year 2007. I am not getting much time these days. Busy and packed. Today I brought out some more of my creations from my carton. These two characters came into being when I was a lecturer and trying hard to learn Macromedia Flash. I created these on paper and then on PC without scanning [as at that time I didn't get my hands on any scanner. Moreover I didn't know how to trace in Flash] Anyways, presenting in front of you the 'Agents of Satan'. I haven't named them yet. Suggestions are welcome
